PUEBLO WESTSpanning 58,000 square feet, Parkview Pueblo West features six operating suites, an on-site pharmacy, expanded outpatient rehabilitation space, and a quarter-mile walking track. Accessibility features are integrated throughout the facility, ensuring that individuals with mobility challenges can navigate the hospital independently. Our commitment to inclusivity and diversity is evident in every aspect of the hospital's design.

LINEAR ACCELERATORThe remodel of the linear accelerator at Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo, Colorado, marks a significant achievement. This advancement takes place within the expansive Cancer Center, encompassing the second meticulously designed vault. Collaboratively orchestrated by JDC Architecture, renowned for its innovative designs, in partnership with the engineering expertise of RMH Group and the structural mastery of HCDA in Colorado Springs. JDC Architecture also provided construction administration assistance for this project as most of the work was performed with their in-house construction subcontractors.

ORTHOPEDIC OPERATING ROOMSLocated at the Pueblo West Orthopedic Hospital, JDC Architecture designed these state-of-the-art orthopedic specialized operating rooms. These meticulously crafted rooms stand as a testament to innovation and precision in healthcare design. Notably, the incorporation of specialized UV lighting sets a new standard in room disinfection, highlighting a proactive approach to hygiene. Furthermore, the operating suite seamlessly integrates a newly established sterile processing department dedicated to serving these operating rooms. This holistic approach to facility design underscores JDC Architecture's commitment to elevating healthcare standards through thoughtful and advanced solutions.

PUEBLO WEST PHYSICAL THERAPYAt Pueblo West Orthopedic Hospital, JDC Architecture constructed an exceptional inpatient and outpatient physical therapy suite. This purposeful design caters to the unique needs of patients, promoting both recovery and well-being. The two private exam and treatment spaces have been meticulously tailored with convenient Matt tables to offer personalized care focused on ensuring patients receive individualized attention. The suite extends its reach to the inpatient realm, where a gym is thoughtfully placed within a patient unit. This strategic placement empowers overnight-stay patients with easy access to exercise therapy, enhancing their healing journey.

CANCER CENTERLocated in Pueblo, Colorado, this exceptional out-patient facility is dedicated to providing comprehensive care and cutting-edge treatments for individuals battling cancer. Spanning an expansive 34,000 square feet, this state-of-the-art center has been thoughtfully designed to offer a holistic approach to cancer treatment and support. We are proud to install not one, but two linear accelerators, enabling the skilled Parkview team of radiation oncologists to deliver precise and targeted radiation therapy. These sophisticated machines, coupled with High Dose Rate (HDR) treatment, infusion therapy, and CT imaging, allow for personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs, maximizing effectiveness while minimizing side effects.

DENTALDiscover Powers Dental, a transformative 3059 square foot remodel that has elevated this dental suite. In a design-build collaboration with Bleeker Construction, we remodeled this space that boasts five distinct treatment spaces, designed to provide an optimal environment for both patients and practitioners. Complementing these spaces, an we included intelligently designed business office reflects JDC's dedication to streamlined functionality and seamless patient care.
